Added a few new pictures today... but how can I rearrange the order of them?  Please don't tell me I'm going to have to delete them & add them in the order I want! What a pain in the ass that would be!

Awhile back (like over a month ago) I went out to my car in the parking garage at work and discovered some black dots on my windshield. My first thought was that it was tar - I don't remember exactly why I thought that but I did. So a week or so goes by & I finally get bug & tar remover. The day I try it, it's very windy so I didn't have much patience...basically it didn't work at all. Another few weeks (or so) pass & yesterday I FINALLY remember to get a flat blade thing (sure it has some technical name) at Lowe's. After work today, even though it was windy, I went out to see if I could scrape off the dots - as they are hindering my windshield wipers a bit. First I'd like to say that I apparently chose a cheap-ass blade way flimsy..but I digress. I am looking at one of the "dots" & I scrape it - the black comes off but I can still see a dot. So I scrape a bit more but nothing changes - I feel it with my finger and look very closely - it appears whatever this black stuff was might have damaged the windshield.

Ok now that you have the story...any other brilliant ideas out there to try to get this stuff off assuming it didn't ruin the glass & it's really just stuck on there?

Current mood: crushed

Good: New cell phone plan starts tomorrow....could have really used it today. 

Bad: I was lead to believe that I was getting a different job & possibly a promotion. NO! I'm going to do be doing the same job I've been doing - same division & all just for different people - who I've reported to all of them at one point or another.

Ugly: The amount of calories I ate today - particularly at lunch was very very ugly...but it tasted good.

The Good:

I actually had a date.  Will let you know if we have a second.   Scarby (Scarborough Faire) opened yesterday.  It was great to see friends that I haven't seen in a long time - some since last year at Scarby.  I will FINALLY find out tomorrow who my new boss will be at work. (Yes it's good as I've know it was happening since around Christmas).  Jackass is caught up on child support finally (wait maybe this should go under bad as the payments will drop? ;) )

The Bad:

I burned through most of my monthly cell phone minutes in 2 weeks & have had to really be good about not talking on it.  (The new cell phone plan starts Tuesday, hopefully that will help). I got sunburned yesterday (Yes John & Heidi I know, I know).  Finding black dress pants that will fit me was WAY harder than should be allowed by law. BUT after trying on like 20 pairs I did find some that fit & that I didn't have to figure out how I was going to get them hemmed by tomorrow morning!  (insert free advert for Ann Taylor Loft here).

The Ugly:

The fact that the jackass (formerly known as X) has only spent one weekend since January 1^st with my son* (Formerly known as OUR son, but the lack of visitation has changed that in my mind).  He told me Wednesday before last that he wasn't going to be able to see Son because he was going to be out of town for 3 weeks but home sporadically (& maybe he could take him for the evening or the day when he's home - yeah right whatever).  I hate the fact that he still has control of my life by backing out at the last minute.  I do not believe that he "just" found out about this.  He does it because he can & there's not a damn thing I can do about it.
